Transfer quota between organisation/areas

  1. In the platform menu, click on the gear icon located in the upper-right corner
  2. Under Quotas are displayed all manageable account quotas. Each quotas displays: 
    • on the left part, the quotas available at organisation level : 
      • the name of the concerned quota
      • the ratio of used quotas over the account subscription 
      • the percentage of used quotas at organisation level. Hint: these quotas have been distributed among the areas of the organisation but have not necessarily been consumed
      • the number of remaining quotas at organisation level
    • on the right part, the quotas repartition among all existing areas
      • the name of the concerned area
      • the percentage of used quotas at the concerned area level 
      • the number of available quotas at the concerned area level. Hint: these quotas are available at the area level but are not fixed to the area. It is possible to augment or lower the number of available quotas in the area. This will impact the ratio of used quotas at organisation level.
      • the number of consumed quotas at the concerned area level. Hint: consumed quotas are fixed to the area and no change can be made. 
  3. Quotas are transferable from organisation to area and from a specific area to the organisation. It is not possible to directly transfer quota between areas. To do so, it is necessary to go through the organisation level.
    • To transfer a quota from the organisation level to the area level, enter a number in the available field of an area. Hint: the entered number shall not be greater than the remaining number of quotas at the organisation level. 
    • To transfer a quota from the area level to the organisation level, enter a lower number in the available field of an area. Hint: the number entered shall be greater than the number of consumed quotas in the area.
