Connection issues generally due to firewalls, proxy servers, corporate networks, or other networks that are configured to block Fusion.
Using a company or organization's network
If you're having connectivity issues on your company or organization's network, check with your network administrator if the network involves rules blocking some traffics. If there are rules in place, ask your network administrator to allow traffic with Fusion.
Common network and connection errors
java.net.UnknownHostException: Unable to resolve host
You may see this error message on the mobile application. The message displays when the application attempts to connect to the Fusion Cloud platform but the hostname can't be resolved.
In such case, check your DNS configuration, particularly for private networks. Check if the server's DNS name fusion.ubleam.com can be resolved from your local network.
Setting up traffic flows
A web standard rule might need to be set on the traffic flows, depending on the used firewall :
- HTTPS protocol
- Port 443
- URLs :
- https://*.fusion.ubleam.com/ (replace * by your subdomain)
Persistent issue on mobile application
If, despite the application of the authorizations described above, the connection issue seems to persist, there is still the possibility to try the methods commonly used on mobile apps :
- Make sure the app is up-to-date
-
Restart the Ubleam app
-
Log out from the app and back in
-
Check it’s not in Offline mode in settings
-
Close any other apps you’re not using
-
Reinstall the app
If you are still having issues, please contact support@ubleam.com.
