1. In the platform menu, go to the object list then click on Import
Tip: Currently, you can only import your data from an Excel file. You can download a sample Excel template to see the required format.
Your file must contain a column with a unique reference to identify each object.
This unique reference must never be null.
Click on Choose a file > Select the required file > Next.
2. In the preview window:
Select the update mode for existing objects already in Fusion and present in the Excel file:
-
Delete and replace: This mode will delete all attributes of existing assets in Fusion and replace them with the columns from the Excel file.
-
Add or update without deleting: This mode will update object attributes in Fusion if the corresponding column exists in the Excel file. If the attribute does not exist in Fusion, it will be added without deleting or modifying other existing attributes.
Select a column from the imported file to be used as the unique identifier by choosing a column from the dropdown menu Column containing unique identifiers (mandatory).
This column will be used as a reference for future object updates.
Select a column from the imported file to be used as the object name by choosing a column from the dropdown menu Column containing names (mandatory).
Select a column from the imported file to be used as the object image by choosing a column from the dropdown menu Column containing object images (optional).
For adding labels, you have two options (optional):
-
Select a column in your Excel file. Labels must be separated by commas to create multiple labels.
-
Manually add one or more labels for all imported objects.
3. Click on Import
⚠️ WARNING:
